I thought last month would be the last of the beautiful trees. These trees are what I see from the hot tub. Tough view, huh?

We are always amazed at the sunsets we see here. This was taken from the veterinarian's office in Johnson City.

How do you like our pink shed? Actually, it's just primer; the shed will be barn red. A lady up the hill behind us couldn't believe we were painting the shed pink!

I think this is the prettiest tree. Next year I won't wait so long to take its picture and will get it in full bloom. The tree is in the front yard of our vet's office.

This airplane led the Christmas parade in Elizabethton. We were actually in the parade in the Carter County Amateur Radio van. We had just completed a CERTS class (Community Emergency Response Team) and looked really classy dressed in our orange vests and hardhats. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of us!

We got to see the Relay for Life float before it was finished. The people building it are very nice and dedicated to the Relay for Life (fighting cancer). The theme of the parade is "Christmas around the world" and the gingerbread men/women are dressed from countries around the world.

Some of the wonderful folks dedicated to the Relay for Life, fighting cancer. Their float won an award, which made us very happy for them.

This float was for the dogs! Actually, several dogs were on the float, but this was the best picture. This pup is ready to help Santa.

We love the way sunbeams and clouds interact in the mountains creating stripes of light.

I was so excited about the frost that I ran outside barefoot to take the picture. You can tell where the shining sun melted some of the frost. Blackie must have done some hunting in the past--he's pointing at something underground.

We get beautiful sunsets here!

Not only do we get pretty sunsets facing West, but in other directions as well. This one is facing North.

And this one is facing South. No wonder we love it here!
